Building on the proven foundation of the award-winning VarioPrint 6000 family of cut-sheet printers, Océ rolled out the new ,
bearing the mantel of world's fastest perfecting digital cut-sheet
press at 306 letter-size pages per minute. The line includes models
ranging in speed from 160 to 306 pages per minute and capable of
monthly print volumes of up to 10 million impressions. To provide the
investment protection all printers need, the lower speed models are all
field upgradeable and the VarioPrint 160 Ultra and VarioPrint 200 Ultra
models have the unique capability to increase their throughput to meet
peak production volumes with Speed Pass.
An industry first,
Océ SpeedPass is a convenient, flexible program designed to accelerate
a printer's productivity and profits, without risk or long-term
financial commitment. It is a simple, on-demand speed license that
temporarily increases their existing Océ VarioPrint engine speed to 250
ppm. This is an ideal solution for print providers facing periodic high
production demands but don't have overall volumes high enough to
justify an investment in a faster system for regular use.
Based on Océ
Gemini Instant Duplex technology, this duplex printer series takes
monochrome speed to new heights. With ultra-fast speed and benchmark
reliability, print professionals can take on more jobs and turn them
around faster, enter profitable new markets like digital book printing,
expand services and do more with less, all while reducing costs and
environmental impact. The result is a win-win proposition that delivers
business stimulus benefits, expands opportunities, and optimizes
resources and investment protection.
