Free Seminar for Denver-area
Print, Graphic Arts and Marketing Pros

Showcasing unique digital print technology & direct marketing innovation

Print, marketing, graphic arts and operations professionals from Boulder, Denver, Ft. Collins, Colorado Springs and surrounding areas are invited to a free seminar and technology showcase May 7 in Denver. Océ, is partnering with Denver-based i3logix to present the “Digital Evolution Technology & Solutions Showcase” at the i3Logix facility at 9501 Northfield Boulevard. Last year, even with a major snow storm, over 80 people attended the event, demonstrating strong awareness of the importance of this technology.

The informative seminar combines presentations by industry experts with real-world demonstrations of digital technology and live production workflow, including the first Océ ColorStream™ installation in the western United States. Attendees can see how direct marketing and other full-color materials are being created on the high-speed Océ ColorStream 10000 digital printer This breakthrough printing technology delivers full-color speeds of 172 IPM, 2-up duplex and black & white output at 852 IPM, 2-up duplex. This may be the only opportunity for many attendees to view this unique system in a real-world production environment.

“Technologies like the ones showcased at this event are radically changing the way we communicate with customers. Digital full color printing, data-driven personalization and electronic communications channels have created unimagined opportunities for companies to extend their reach and their effectiveness. We hope to provide a valuable and educational look at how more businesses can participate in this opportunity,” says Bob Buczek, Vice President and General Manager of Direct Mail Operations for i3logix. “New technology has triggered a marketing revolution. We will demonstrate the latest in secure, cost-effective and timely direct marketing and campaign management using high-tech, high-touch platforms and strategies.”

Direct marketers, commercial printers, operations managers, print and mail professionals, database marketers, and other service providers will learn firsthand about the latest in digital print and direct marketing technology. Attendees will find out how to enhance traditional marketing tools with digital variable print and blend their efforts with new media. They will learn how to improve response rates, increase marketing and production ROI, and lower marketing costs. They will hear some of the latest thinking about direct mail, including “transpromo” billing and personalized, integrated multi-channel campaigns.

The program will be presented twice, with refreshments, prize drawings, technology tours, speakers and networking at both sessions. The morning session from 8:30 AM to 12 noon includes lunch. The afternoon session from 1 PM to 4:30 PM is followed by a reception.
